Currency
The official currency in Switzerland is Swiss Franc (CHF). Banks and ATM machines are easily available throughout the city of Basel and at the airport. All major credit cards are accepted in most hotels, restaurants and shops.

The congress organiser cannot accept liability for personal injuries sustained, or for loss or damage of property belonging to congress participants (or their accompanying persons), either during, or as a result of the congress. Please check the coverage of your own insurance.
Language
The official congress language is English. Simultaneous translation will not be provided.
Simultaneous translation will be provided for Keynote Lectures (English to German).
Public transportation
While staying in a hotel in Basel you can use any public transportation free of charge. You will receive a respective ticket upon check-in.
Smoking Policy
There is a strict non-smoking policy in the entire Congress Center Basel.
